Lettuce Wrap Turkey Burgers and Jicama Fries

Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb 93% Lean Ground Turkey or Beef

  2. 1 Egg

  3. 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

  4. 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

  5. 1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder

  6. 1/4 Teaspoon Salt

  7. 1 Head of Lettuce of Choosing

  8. 1 Tomato

  9. 4 Slices of Cheese

  10. Other Condiments of Choosing

  11. 1 Jicama

  12. 1 Teaspoon Olive Oil

  13. 1 Tablespoon Parmesan Cheese

  14. Parsley

Instructions

Mix turkey, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt into a bowl. Form four individual patties. Spray grill surface. Cook over medium-high heat for 4-6 minutes per side with cheese on the burger if desired. Wrap the burger in lettuce. Peel and boil Jicama for 30-40 minutes. Slice Jicama into fry shape. Coat Jicama slices with 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder. Place in the air fryer at 370 degrees for 14 minutes. Weigh out 6.9 ounces of air-fried Jicama fries and top with 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle 1/4 or less of parsley. Enjoy.


Tip:

Turkey burgers are a healthy alternative. Turkey burgers have a good source of vitamin B6, phosphorus and zinc.
