Japanese Beef Bowl

  1. 2 Tablespoon Canola Oil

  2. 1/2 Small Onion, thinly sliced

  3. 3 Tablespoon Japanese-style Beef Rice Sauce

  4. 1/3 Cup Water

  5. 3/4 lb Beef Tenderloin, thinly sliced

  6. 4 Large Eggs

  7. 6 Cups Riced Cauliflower, steamed


Heat oil in a pan, and stir-fry onion for two minutes. Stir in Japanese-style beef rice sauce and water; cook for another minute. Add beef and cook until done, about 2 minutes. Turn off the heat. Crack one egg in a microwave-safe dish and cover the egg with room-temperature water. Cook in the microwave on medium-high for about 40 seconds. Carefully drain the water. Place cauliflower "rice" at the bottom of a serving bowl, followed by the beef mixture, and then egg on top. Enjoy.


Eggs have a variety of health benefits including omega-3. Eggs are high in protein.
