Baked Parmesan Tomatoes

  1. 4 Tomatoes, Halved Horizontally

  2. 1/4 Cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese

  3. 1 Teaspoon Fresh Oregano, Chopped

  4. 1/4 Teaspoon Salt

  5. Freshly Ground Pepper, To Taste

  6. 4 Teaspoons of Extra-Virgin Olive Oil


Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place tomatoes cut-side up on a baking sheet. Top with Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and bake until the tomatoes are tender. Usually takes about 15 minutes. Enjoy.


Tomatoes are high in vitamins and Folate. Tomatoes offer a variety of different health benefits including assisting with combating metabolic syndromes.
